We have have transformed passenger transportation around Lake Victoria by offering insured journeys on serviced, modern and environmentally friendly catamaran ferries. We operate routes between islands and key road connections. We serve tens of thousands of travelers every year and that number is increasing. We play an important role in their lives by improving mobility.

Malcolm Ormiston has a background in mechanical engineering and has diverse experience in cross-cultural entrepreneurship and innovative transport concepts. Malcolm founded Globology in 2005 with the aim of building safe affordable water transport solutions.

Mr Friedrich Neser, an Electrical Engineer and Chartered Marine Engineer who has worked in Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Saudi Arabia. He has 12+ years of management experience in developing markets, marine and startups.

Wicklyffe trained as a Civil Engineer and has advanced his passion for engineering through his growth in the marine industry with WaterBus.
Wicklyffe’s hands on leadership style and practical experience in vessel construction create a foundation for the WaterBus team’s focus on detail and quality that go into the construction of each WaterBus our shipbuilding team deliver on every vessel we build.
